This week's transitional look features a pair of my favorite J.Crew pants, paired with my new Zara Blazer Vest, and my recently purchased checkered Tunic from H&M. I bought a cute white blazer vest last year from H&M, so my new black blazer vest will be in good company. Blazer vest are an great investment to show off statement sleeves. Structured enough to wear to the office and sleeveless allowing you to show off your fun statement sleeves..
I previously styled this checkered tunic with knit skinny pants. I decided to go with a trouser this time to show off the versatility of the "dress with pants" trend. I've seen this trend styled with casual clothes quite often, but not too often with work wear. I think this outfit is both a appropriate and realistic for a working woman in a conservative, business casual, or casual office setting. Let me know if seeing this look makes your think you could pull off the dress with pants trend in your office?
I paired this look with mules instead of booties or heels to make it a spring look. Like last season I think we'll be seeing lots of cute mules, so start stocking up on some cute ones now. I'm sure you'll keep them in heavy rotation this year.
